For the past few months, Toket has focused on one question: Can an independent builder create a real AI product? What started as a few AI tools has gradually evolved into an independent AI product laboratory.
From AI cost analysis and prompt optimization to model knowledge, Workspace, News, and Knowledge, Toket has continued to expand. But recently, my focus has started to change.
Because building is no longer the biggest challenge. The harder question is: Does anyone actually need it? ⸻ Recently, I started exploring GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) more deeply.
At first, GEO was only an experiment inside Toket.
But after researching existing products and open-source projects, I realized it could become a potential business entry point. The goal is not simply to build another tool.
The goal is to understand how AI visibility analysis, brand evaluation, reporting, and optimization recommendations can become a product that solves real business problems.
⸻ This has also changed Toket’s roadmap for the quarter. As GEO becomes more mature, the focus will gradually move from adding features to: Improving architecture.
Reducing technical debt. Upgrading visual design. Improving product experience. ⸻ Rapid iteration also created new challenges. To validate ideas quickly, Toket accumulated many compatibility layers and temporary solutions.
They helped the product move faster. But they may also become technical debt that needs future cleanup. This is a common challenge for independent builders:
Speed helps exploration. Stability determines how far a product can go. ⸻ The biggest question for Toket has changed. Before: “Can I build this?”
Now: “Will someone use it? Will someone pay for it?” The next milestone is not another feature. It is the first real signal: The first email.
The first inquiry. The first business opportunity. ⸻ AI has changed what a single builder can create. But products are still built on understanding people, solving real problems, and creating value.
Toket continues. Building Toket.
